Chairman and President
A graduate of Harvard University and the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Harris advocates passionately for global management, healthcare research and strategic policy development. With decades of service in government, including The White House, and private enterprises, his extensive work transcends national boundaries, with research projects and lectures conducted in over 160 countries and territories.
Dr. Harris embodies the spirit of inquiry and innovation in all his endeavors. He continually explores new frontiers in global competitiveness, entrepreneurship and dynamic innovation, leaving a lasting legacy in many areas.
Director, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
LIN Haoxing serves as Director, Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of The Harry G. Harris Foundation. In these roles, he contributes to the Foundation’s long-term strategy, the prudent stewardship of its resources and its mission of enhancing community well-being. His leadership focuses on developing a sound investment strategy and identifying innovative initiatives that create meaningful social impact, particularly at the intersection of technology, education and social development.
Mr. Lin is currently completing his Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in Cryptography, at the National University of Singapore. He brings to the Foundation a strong combination of academic achievement, research expertise and strategic vision. As a representative of a new generation of technological leaders, he is committed to applying advanced knowledge and innovation to address complex societal challenges and create lasting, positive change in communities worldwide.
Director and Secretary/Treasurer
For more than 30 years, Mr. Weltmann has provided accounting guidance to individuals and businesses, including tax management, financial statements and business consulting. His previous experience includes many years working at senior and executive levels of public and private accounting.
Mr. Weltmann lives in Bend, Oregon, where he enjoys hiking and cycling and serves on the boards of a local nonprofit and a private foundation.
Director
Ioannis T. Charalampopoulos is based in Drosia, Athens, Greece, with extensive experience in business development and private real estate management. This includes a broad range of entrepreneurial and investment ventures, including the preservation of ancestral properties in the western Peloponnese, where he has successfully overseen property maintenance, capital improvements and long-term asset stewardship.
Mr. Charalampopoulos is actively engaged in initiatives that promote and preserve Greece's rich cultural heritage and historical traditions. Recognized for his integrity, sound judgment and commitment to excellence, Mr. Charalampopoulos combines practical business experience with a deep appreciation for Greece's cultural legacy. His dedication to responsible stewardship and community engagement reflects his enduring commitment to both economic development and the preservation of Greece's historical and cultural heritage.
